*IMPORTANT NOTICE*

Due to road rehabilitation works on ER202, there will be nighttime traffic interruptions that may affect our sunrise hike to Pico do Areeiro. The closures are planned as follows:

- Phase 1: August 5 to August 17, 2024, from 19:00 to 07:00, between the Caminho Florestal access to Eira do Serrado intersection and Pico do Areeiro.
- Phase 2: August 19 to August 31, 2024, from 19:00 to 07:00, between the Caminho Florestal access to Eira do Serrado intersection and Poiso.

If reaching Pico do Areeiro for sunrise becomes unfeasible, we will adjust our PR1 hike organization. The hike will start at Achada do Teixeira, proceeding to Pico Ruivo and then to Pico do Areeiro, which will be our new pick-up point after the hike. Note that the transfer start times might change and will be earlier than usual.
